Throughout my childhood I always had a small interest in the paranormal, particularly with ghosts, however due to a lack of understanding and fear of being ridiculed I never took it beyond that until I met the parents of a girlfriend I had a few years ago. During our introductions I was surprised to find out that her father, Stephen, had recently started a paranormal investigation group. As it was in it's fledgling days I was able to tag along on a few investigations and gradually my interest grew and I was accepted as a team member.

Despite being a member of the team for many years and experiencing a wide range of paranormal phenomena, including witnessing an apparition, my new understanding of the paranormal has actually led me to become more sceptical then when I first joined the team.

I am in no doubt that ghosts do exist, it's just that it is very easy to think you have experienced paranormal activity when it is in fact explainable with a bit of logic and the occasional experiment.

For the next year I plan to lead the research already undertaken by the team to a new level by testing theories and trying to find out what is really going on. Together we can make a difference.
